Cancellation and refunds

Last updated:

In short

  • Your first 14 days are free. You add a card to start, and nothing is charged until the trial ends.
  • Cancel any time in Settings. Your household keeps its paid features until the period you’ve paid for ends.
  • Refunds go through Paddle. Paddle reviews each request and pays approved refunds back to the card you used.

Your free trial

Your household's first subscription starts with a 14-day free trial. You add a card to start, and nothing is charged during the trial. A household that has subscribed before starts paying right away.

Cancel in Settings before the trial ends and you won’t be charged. If you don’t cancel, your plan renews at the end of the trial and then at the start of each billing period until you cancel.

Canceling your plan

The household owner cancels in Settings, Billing, Cancel plan. It takes a couple of clicks and there’s nothing to call or email.

Canceling stops the next renewal. Your household keeps its paid features until the end of the period you’ve already paid for, and nothing more is charged.

When you can get a refund

Paddle.com is the merchant of record for every Roostly order, so it handles payment, tax and refund requests. Refunds follow Paddle’s Refund Policy.

If you live in the European Economic Area or the United Kingdom, you have a legal right to withdraw within 14 days of buying, where it applies. Paddle may also consider a refund request made within 14 days of a purchase.

Otherwise, fees already paid aren’t refundable, unless the law requires it, a separate written offer says so, or you delete your account right away (below).

Deleting your account

When you delete your account, you choose how a paid plan ends:

  • At the end of the billing period. Renewal is canceled, the household keeps paid features until then, and no refund is due.
  • Right away. Roostly cancels the plan immediately and asks Paddle to refund the unused part of the current period, in proportion to the time left.

How to ask for a refund

Email our support team from the address you paid with and tell us which payment it’s about. We’ll pass your request to Paddle, and we can help if you’re not sure you qualify.

You can also ask Paddle directly: use the help link in your receipt email, or go to paddle.net and choose Request refund.

The billing portal (Settings, Billing, Manage billing) lists your payments, receipts and invoices, but it can’t take refund requests.

How long a refund takes

Paddle reviews each refund request before any money moves. Approved refunds go back to the payment method you paid with, and can take a few days to show up.

This page explains our cancellation and refund rules in plain words. The Terms of Service are the full agreement and apply if anything here differs.
